EDIT: You guys are amazing. This has gotten 100 faves, more than I could ever expect from this! :boogie:

FINALLY! I worked up enough nerve to digitize and color this picture in! (And it took me less time to do so! ONLY ONE DAY!!!!!! :boogie: I'm getting faster!)

This style I've developed, I've decided to dub "Sonic X+" (Read that as "Sonic X Plus"), The reason is, while it does have the style of Sonic X's coloring and drawing, there is also an extra coloring component (a gradient) that I have added to make the style a little more my own. :D

Anyways, this was a lot of fun to color. It came out almost exactly as I had envisioned it. I did have some trouble at the beginning as Flash wouldn't cooperate with gradients. It wasn't until I looked through the various components of the image that I found the problem. I was almost ready to release it just without the gradients, but I'm happy I didn't.

I'm noticing my coloring skills getting a lot better. I hope this will be the same for the image of Vector the Crocodile. (and a picture of Wave the Swallow I plan on doing.)

Sorry if the colors seem a bit too "hot" (like Charmy's reddish-pink helmet lining), they looked fine on my tablet. I'll adjust them in the morning.)

It's very pretty, but the horrible thing is, that if Charmy stings someone he dies. :devilish:

That's only true with a stinger that has hooks on it; it's called a "barbed" stinger. If a bee or other insect with a smooth stinger attacks an intruder, they can remove the stinger, and thus, live and continue stinging.
