Whew... FINALLY. I finished the Chaotix picture.

This is the first time I've fully drawn either Vector, Charmy or Espio, much less all of them together. I have to say that this picture really blew even my own expectations away. I think it's the best picture I've ever drawn thus far.

Espio is joking, guys. (Probably the first joke anyone's ever heard out him. XD) He doesn't really mean any harm to Charmy. I couldn't just leave Espio in the picture looking all stone-faced and meditating.

Vector was the hardest to draw, because of the angle. He's also my absolute favorite character, next to Sonic.

Again, some of you might say, "HEY! THAT'S TOO GOOD! YOU TRACED THAT/YOU STOLE THAT! >( " I know it's hard to believe, but I drew this entire picture from scratch (with most of the background work done in Macromedia Fireworks MX 2004). If I have to prove it, I can post some pictures of my progress in my scraps later. (I have multiple files starting from the beginning)

I've watermarked the image again because I don't want to risk this being stolen. It's too well-drawn to risk my credit.

I tried my best to make it look like something out of Sonic X, but some of the items are higher in visual quality than what you would normally see in the cartoon. (Like the desk lamp)

As an in-joke, I gave each character a certain font to reflect their age/personality.

3 weeks of non-consecutive work (both my desktop and my laptop didn't work correctly.), adding up to approximately 2 weeks consecutive work without days where I didn't draw, and it's all come down to this.

I think I might send this in to Archie Comics' Sonic-Grams if I get the chance. [~~EDIT!: I already have! I hope it''ll be in the Sonic-Grams section in about 6 or 7 months!~~ ]

EDIT: Added some details, like the phone handset wire, and gave the watermark the proper font motif.

You're lucky to get this picture in at least one comic.

I'm hoping someday that my own Sonic fanfic will be made into a comic series of Archie's Sonic. Only it'll be privately published for reasons.

Think that's possible?
