Sorry Psu! I was getting tired of waiting for someone to complete the lineart of your drawing, so I decided to take matters into my own hands! ;)

Here we have a rather interesting piece originally by :iconpsuc:, with Blaze happily sleeping in bed and bathed in moonlight. (The original doesn't have a time of day specified, I can only assume it was originally supposed to be in the middle of the morning, or just a daytime nap.)

What is she dreaming about? Well whatever it is, it's making her bare her teeth! Those things look nasty, man! :jawdrop: (Nasty as in, they could HURT!) Maybe she's after a giant cookie?(Actually, that was suggested by a commenter on the original deviation. :giggle:)

As you can probably see, compared to the original (here: [link]), I put my own touches on the picture:

*I modified her teeth, which I felt would not have translated well to vector lines. The originals also looked kind of awkward to me, like the teeth wouldn't follow the jawlines correctly.
*Added her hairband
*Made her sleepwear orange-yellow (Hey, not everything in Blaze's wardrobe has to be violet, right? ;P It also matches with her pyrological theme. ;))
*Gave the headboard cushion's pattern a gold threading, since, you know, she's royalty? :D

Anyways, with your permission, Psu, I'd like to release an uncolored and unshaded version of the line art for this picture. :D

I absolutely LOVE how this turned out! However, if I wanted to modify the shading, I probably would have turned down the moonlight and added a glow directly above her off-picture, like a lantern.

EDIT: BTW, I was listening to this ([link]) piece of music while coloring this in, which really fits with this picture! :D

Whatever the case, just make sure you don't disturb her slumber. She's totally zonked if she doesn't get her 21-1/2 hours of beauty sleep. :P

Have you ever observed how much a house cat seems to sleep? =P

To say nothing of the fact that if she's groggy, she might have a lapse in judgment...like mistaking the potted plant in the living room for her litter box. :P

I feel very honored that you took great observations at my picture and added a lot more thoughts into the picture than I originally did. ^^
The modification on the teeth immediately stood out at first glance, and I must say what a nice yet ferocious set of teeth you have given her!B-) I like your idea of her wardrobe too, though I originally thought that she would remove her hairband before going to bed, so I didn't add it in, but it's no problem here.:) Even that nest textures from the background you've improved it. Thank you for pointing out the flaws I made with the original too.^^
And look! Golden signatures! :XD:
Oh, and, of course you can release the lineart.:) After all, it was you who did the lineart based on my pencil lines, not me.^^

I love to be as accurate as possible when it comes to someone else's picture, except when it doesn't quite match up with "reality". (like the teeth.) :D

Oh! If you want, I can delete the headband. :D
