I drew this for my cousin, who is a fanatic of Pokemon, (which I'm not, but I'm considering it. [used to be one tho]) and I hope she likes it, because I haven't shown her yet. I'm at my late grandmother's house, but right now, at McDonalds on their WiFi network. My dad's comp is pretty gimpy with the dial-up connection at my grandmother's house.
I think I made the back leg too small. If my cousin requests it, I'll resize it for her pic and on here as well.
Enjoy!
EDIT: I resized the back leg (larger), added some missing shading gradients, and lightened the rock that the Feraligatr is on.
EDIT (7-29-2008) : Just a minor edit; one of the "humps" on the back of the tongue didn't look right, so I reshaped it a bit, and changed everything else around that small area to conform.
EDIT (7-30-2008) : (I probably should make a small comic about why I edit my drawings so much.) This time around, I got rid of the lines around the nostrils (to match with the opening of the throat), and took care of a small mistake having to do with a miscolored sliver of the rock. (Yes, I'm picky )
EDIT (7-30 again): *VERY* unnoticable change; I fixed a layering mistake on the "box scale" on the back leg, and as a result, to fix the line that was previously covered by the scale, had to move the line to connect with the other part of the broken line. (In Flash, if a vector object covers a continuous line, that line is broken into a certain number of parts, depending on how many times the vector object crosses over the line)
Yeah, there was article I read on Feraligatr on a Pokemon fan wiki that said that Feraligatrs who aren't strong enough out of the water might not have the balance to be bipedal, so they can come out of the water ONLY on all fours. (in other words, they might not be able to stand up and stay up.)
Or you could see that image here :3 : [link]
