Well, 2013 wasn't the "Infinite Tomorrow" (see: fav.me/d5pzxfg ) I had hoped it was going to be. It had some nice times, but mostly, it was just depressing. I hope 2014 yields some grace.
SHUTDOWN ABORTED.I've been thinking over the past few weeks about shutting down my account, and I find that I just cannot do it. I cannot leave the friends I have made here on dA behind. Yes, dA's not following it's own rules, but that's its fault, not the fault of the artists.
So, instead, I will keep this account open for communication purposes only. No art will be posted here.
I understand that there are others who have promised never to return because of drama on dA, yet they still do so, but my case is a bit different. I find I will lose a great deal and alienate myself from others if I cut myself off from deviantART completely. (Besides, there is some art I made that belongs to other artists here as gifts, and I would feel bad if I hoarded them all to myself. )
Commencing shut-down...I've done it. I've finally found a good website to settle down and begin to develop my career.
Thanks to a teacher at my college, I've found the perfect site to post my art, called "Behance", and it's run by Adobe Software.
If anyone is interested, here's my cartoon art site on Behance: https://www.behance.net/T-SquaredProductions
In addition, I now have a secondary "business" account with Behance for my formal-business-related art: https://www.behance.net/TSQPBusiness
Not only that, but I can conduct myself in a more professional way there.
With that said, I will leave this deviantART site up for another month to give enough time to those who wish to follow my art to Behance, then I will pull the plug and deactivate this account.
I'm still on Twitter, if anyone is interested in speaking to me or following me there: https://twitter.com/KazuoIchigama
But as for this site, I've had enough. deviantART.com has become a shadow of its former self.
Not Dead, But Not Here Either.Hey all, it's me. I'm still not coming back to deviantART. (I just posted this to show you all that I still care about the acquaintanceships I've made during my time as an artist here.)
However, it's come to my attention that deviantART has been messing with our art, and giving it away to places like Hot Topic without royalties.
With that said, I'm deleting all of my art here on my account. (It's mine, and I am not going to let it slip away to a company that has no right to use it, if anyone takes an interest in it.) It pains me to do this, because I really appreciate all the accolades some of my art has gotten over the years, but it must be done. Don't worry though, I still have all of my original raw-format art. It's not going to be permanently deleted out of existence.
In other news, I've put together a prototyping outline list for the new T-Squared Productions Website. I will still post the URL where you can find my website when it's finished, but you will no longer be seeing my ar
Lost faith in deviantARTSorry about not being active for the last few months. I finally took a major run for my Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure mod within January, but I still need help. (It's hard trying to think of original decorations and textures to fill a 320 x 400 pixel image!)
But, for the most part, I've lost faith in deviantART, which is why I have not been artistically active here for a while. Thus, I will be leaving.
It’s complex, and I won't go into specifics, but all I will say is that the reason why I'm leaving is that I feel deviantART is not following its own rules.
I will not be closing my account, for art's sake, and also I have several art "contracts" (for lack of a better term) with artists here on dA.
I took down my website for security reasons (Hosting service was involved in phishing.), but I hope to revamp it, and get it back up in time for my 10th internet anniversary. (the day 10 years ago when I started the website.)
For those of you who want to follow me off the dA grid, you can fin
No Super Secret Santa Project This Year...I feel it's time to develop my own stories and characters before I move back into totally making art for others. (That doesn't mean I'm giving up on art requests and such. :iconscaleraegis:, I'm talking to you!)
With that being said, there will not be a Secret Santa Project this year. There was only one picture I was able to finish for someone, and I'll most likely upload it on Christmas Eve Day.
Hopped onto the Bandwagon... (3DS Friend Code!)I buckled under the modern pressure and got myself a 3DS.
Here's my friend code:
The Strangest Interrogation I've ever been in...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDGt7j3_bXk
Well, for those of you who grew up with Scooby-Doo, he's not coming back. XD
He tried charging at me when I caught him (I think he had rabies), and I did the only thing that a Time Force Police Officer could do!
I was picked for a comedy game at my college on Halloween. It was fairly simple --a LOT like a mix between "Whose Line?", and the board game Clue-- and a bit easy, but it was funny.
The idea of the game was that I had commited a fictional murder and couldn't remember who it was that I killed, what I committed the "crime" with, and where it occurred. My job was to figure out, with clues from the host, the entire story.
My jokes were probably not as good as the host's, but I tried playing along with the routine. XD The last answer didn't come to me until I had a few more clues.
Special thanks to :icondisrook: for recording the results!
From the creators of Myst and Riven......comes a new game that is a spiritual successor to the series!
Obduction places you onto an alien planet, your starting point a strangely-human-built farmhouse with a white picket fence. Your job? Find out where and what this place is, and what the importance of a mysterious "seed" is.
There is only 9 days left in the Kickstarter, and I am a bit interested in seeing how this game turns out. Please help them get the last $410,000!!! I grew up with their games, and I do NOT want to see them fail!

I’ve realized over the years that I can’t draw everything myself, and I’ve damaged my hands by trying to draw all of my comics on my own. My followers are always asking when the next chapter of Fisheye Placebo or Knite is coming out, and it always pains me to say not yet. I can’t draw for more than a few hours a day now before the pain sets in.
I’m still determined to finish the comics I started, but I know I’m going to need help. I’ve been dabbling in 3D backgrounds for Fisheye Placebo, but I still had to build them myself, which is very time consuming and damaging to my hands in different ways.
I’ve been thinking a lot and I want to move my comic creating techniques to the next level and incorporate both 3D characters and 3D backgrounds. I’m not the most skilled when it comes to 3D programs, and I don’t have the time or health to create all the models myself, so I am looking

2015: Resumed. Missing Halloween didn't miss Halloween!
For the past month, me and Negyek were hard at work, day and night, to finish Missing Halloween. Later on, Procrastacat and VenBright were hired to give various voices for the ending scene. All of these are, of course, paid jobs, thanks to my Patreon supporters.
By November 29, the animation is officially done. All 8+ minutes of it.
Lackadaisy - PatreonI've recently left my job in the game industry so that I could focus more of my time and attention on Lackadaisy. Patreon is my weapon of choice in trying to see this to fruition.
If more Lackadaisy comic updates, illustrations, tutorials, mini-comics, books and other things interests you, please do check it out!
Notes on Character Design
I received the question pictured below at my tumblr blog. In case it's useful to anyone here, I decided to go ahead and use this otherwise dormant journal to share the article I put together in response.
Character design and drawing are tome-sized topics and even if I had all the answers (I don't - I have a lot to learn), I'm not sure I could communicate them effectively. Here are some thoughts an ideas that might help, though.
First, some general things...
Let some of that anxiety go. This isn't a hard science. There's no wrong way,

The 'FNAF Sister Location' Anti-Hate RantOK, so everyone should have seen Scott's new teaser by now.
I was not going to write about this originally (so forgive me for rushing this journal), since I figured that literally everyone knows about the news by now, but the way people are announcing it and reacting to it disturbs me. I thought we were better than this, but I guess not.
Literally everywhere I go today, everyone I've seen is spamming memes like and saying that Scott is milking the series and beating a dead horse. Even people who have "left" the FNAF fandom and have decided to pop back in just to put in their discouraging, even hating, opinions. It's so bad, that I feel people are hating JUST because it has become cool to hate, as some kind of herd mentality.
Well guess what? It doesn't matter what anyone thinks! Scott is clearly going to do what Scott is going to do! The amount of hate th
